Join Niamh on this two hour retreat in which you will spend time winding down the mind and finding space in the body through the support of soothing yoga postures and the healing effects of sound.
Sound therapy and restorative yoga help to support the natural healing processes of the body and to relieve stress through deep relaxation. As we allow both body and mind to switch off, we move out of the sympathetic nervous system aka 'fight or flight' and deeply into the parasympathetic nervous system which is our natural state of rest. From this state of ease, we can learn to move forward in our lives with a deeper sense of connection to both ourselves and the world around us, and allow anything that we need to release go so that we feel lighter and more open to give and receive love and positive energy.
This workshop is open to all and will help you to reset both body and mind on many levels - all you need to do is chill out and let yourself rest. Experience the cleansing sounds of Tibetan and Crystal singing bowls, gong and chimes during this session.
